North Somerset construction businesses are being encouraged to register their interest in a range of upcoming contract opportunities linked to the landmark Epic Campus development in Long Ashton.
The project, which is being delivered by Gilbert-Ash, represents one of the region’s largest construction programmes and is set to create significant opportunities for local suppliers over the coming months and years.
A number of work packages are now being brought to market through Somerset Chamber of Commerce’s Somerset Supply Chain, with opportunities spanning construction, fit-out, engineering and specialist trades.
Current and forthcoming opportunities include:
• Scaffolding (£500,000)
• Brickwork (£700,000 to £800,000)
• Drylining (£2 million)
• Electrical contractor LV (£1 million to £3 million)
• Pipework and ventilation (£2 million to £5 million)
• Soft flooring
• Painting and decorating
• Doors and joinery
• Fitted furniture
• Tiling
• Signage
• Builders’ merchants and material supply
Several packages are expected to progress throughout 2026 and 2027, with further opportunities anticipated as the development advances through its phased construction programme.
Somerset Chamber of Commerce is working with North Somerset Council on the Epic Campus project and is urging businesses across North Somerset, particularly those operating in the construction sector, to register on the Somerset Supply Chain portal to ensure they don’t miss out.
By registering they will receive information about relevant tenders, engagement events and supplier support opportunities associated with the Epic Campus project.
